I am currently looking for a Cantonese teacher who I can work with long term, as I wish to visit Hong Kong next year. I also wish to be able to understand and speak more Cantonese with my relatives and my husband's relatives. Wendy impressed me with her warm demeanor and patience. She genuinely made an effort to comprehend my goals and assess my current abilities. Her English is quite good, which is very helpful for avoiding miscommunication. Wendy seems to be very intelligent as she knows many languages. This means she understands the struggle to learn new languages, as many languages have different vocabulary, grammar and slang. I enjoyed my class with Wendy and would recommend trying a class with her. She is very kind!

Absolutely amazing trial lesson! I feel like I already learned something~ And Jiyou has such amazing energy! Her teaching style is awesome. I had a lot of fun and felt totally comfortable making mistakes and asking for clarification. Can't wait for next lesson~

First real class with Noah ssi and I enjoyed it ! I add a chance to practice speaking and learn new stuff ! 50min went so fast. Always stressed (with new thing/person) at first but I don't feel judged so I will feel more comfortable with each session I'm pretty sure. Thank you ! :)

This was my 21st lesson. I have learnt more vocabulary related to locations of things. I appreciated all the visual and audio materials. I most welcome linking my learning with the Korean geography and related history. This helps me to remember the new vocabulary better. Remain grateful.

Today, we have learned V-(으)ㄹ 걸 그랬다 and V-(으)ㄹ 만하다 to indicate regret of doing or not doing something, and be worth or deserve to do something. We have also discussed a new law in Australia protecting employees from being contacted by companies after office hours and how it's not realistic in some types of job. I have also shared what we're going to do when my Korean colleague is in town.

희지 선생님 is preparing me well for the TOPIK exam. She provided me with extra resources and a new study plan! I'm even excited to do my homework. She's a good listener and answers my questions fully and with care. I was very happy with today's lesson^^

Today I learned two forms of grammar and how it can be used in different context. I also had the chance to speak about movies in Korean, which I think it an opportunity for me to practice my oral speaking.

This has been the best Korean class I've taken so far! You pinpoint exactly what I need, and I'm really looking forward to the upcoming lessons. Thank you for such an enjoyable class!

I already had few lessons with 세라쌤, and she is super dedicated and energetic. She adjusts her level to be just slightly above mine, which really pushes me to improve! For now, I’m focusing mainly on conversation with her because I want to get comfortable using all the grammar I’ve learned on my own or in group classes before :)

Yeoni is always patient and kind. She has a great way of making her students feel comfortable. Even though I’m still a bit of a beginner, she makes our conversations flow smooth by perfectly adapting to my level. When necessary, she provides the new vocabulary I need. For now, we’re focusing on revising grammar and practicing conversation, which has been very helpful.

I highly recommend Zuri 쌤. While the first session I had with her was good. She really shines as sessions continue. She pays close attention to detail learning about her students because the sessions get even more beneficial and enjoyable each time.

I enjoy Minii’s enthusiasm! She is so encouraging and provides good instructions during class and for homework. You can tell she puts in a lot of time preparing for class. Highly recommend!

It's always a pleasure to work with Hyemin쌤. For our classes she will typically send contents (news articles, videos) for me to study and prepare in advance, which we will then work through during class. She gives ample time for speaking practice and discussion and is great at reinforcing vocabulary and useful expression. Looking forward to many more lessons with her!

I just started working with Suhee쌤 and I really like the classes so far, in particular the pacing during class, and the fact that we can have conversations effortlessly. Suhee쌤 is also well prepared and engaged during class, which makes me particularly motivated. :)

We have worked on the passage today and answered questions to make sure my understanding is correct. I can't quite believe that I am reading bigger passages of writing and understanding them. This time last year I was still only learning basic words and phrases! Thank you for your continued patience and help. I'm still so happy to be learning with you.

For the first class, I think it was a really good start. We could get to know each other, but we could also make out my struggles and areas I need to work on / need the practice. We already made suggestions for the next class that are based on my needs. In addition to that, I felt like I still learned a lot, even for the first class. I'm already excited about the next class!!
