I believe that my teaching experience and my passion for the involvement of the community make me an ideal candidate to teach students of various levels. I have experience teaching basic to advanced students in Morocco for 4 years and in Brazil for 9 years in a variety of configurations. I am currently teaching private lessons online. My goal as a teacher is to foster a positive learning environment for all students with a great capacity for communication and listening, good transmission of knowledge with the goal of better accompanying students, adaptability and the ability to gain respect in the classroom and to captivate students' attention.
My duties as a teacher are:
• developing course materials taking into account the level of the students.
• My central mission is the transmission of knowledge: I detail the rules of grammar, conjugation, spelling and vocabulary.
• the materials used vary and address the four areas of competence required for the language (listening, reading, writing and speaking)
• My job also involves regular monitoring of students' knowledge through tests and evaluations.
I believe that I'm a tutor with a lot of patience, flexibility, and self-discipline. Students also look for passion and credibility and they can easily see when one or both are present or absent. I can be a positive and active contributor to the life of your school and community. I have a willingness to learn alongside a team committed to creating a whole school culture of learning.
I'm an enthusiast tutor that emphasizes innovative learning and teaching techniques. I have a great experience teaching modern languages in-person and online, I've worked with students of different levels in an educational setting. I'm patient, innovative, encouraging, and stimulating to the students, provoking them to learn and pose questions to my teaching.
I create lessons that involve a multitude of different activities that get my students talking and participating in class. My teaching methods extend beyond worksheets and textbook activities, for example:
- In-class or online debates and presentations.
- Role-playing exercises.
- Arts-and-crafts activities.
- Teaching with videos.
With the help of concept check questions and instruction check questions, I can assess my students’ understanding without directly asking them questions.
I also frequently give my students quizzes and assessments designed to check their understanding. This can be done through a number of different exercises such as matching vocabulary words to definitions, fill-in-the-blank exercises and short writing activities.
