I appreciated that Sakura sent me PDF attachments after the lesson with a log of our zoom chat and even the annotated PDF that we were using during the lesson. It was excellent followup to help solidify what we learned and allow me to review offline on my own time. This is excellent diligence and flexibility. Because my level is still very beginner, Sakura could explain in English without any problems. Another big plus is her timezone. She lives in Europe and is able to find suitable times whether I am in the US or in Asia. I will continue working with her in preparation for my JLPT exam and likely beyond. Highly recommend.

I was very impressed how much I learned from a 50 min lesson for Mikko sensei's Japanese traveling course! :) Even though I had JLPT N5 certification and read through Genki textbooks, this course covers what you need when traveling to Japan (eg. Ordering in restaurant, going to hotel etc.). Lesson materials are very realistic, mentioning some sentences where Keigo (honourific japanese) is commonly used by Japanese staff but most travelers like myself would struggle especially since Japanese textbooks cover super basic sentences that may not be used as much by the Japanese locals. 50 minutes went by very quickly and it was enjoyable learning from Mikko sensei. Thank you!! :)

Had another lesson with Mikko sensei! We usually talk about certain topics and we occasionally had some free talking time as well. I like the lessons vibe and the relaxing atmosphere created by Mikko sensei. Sometimes I could not really express well but Mikko sensei allows me to take my time to construct the sentence. Definitely recommending Mikko sensei to all!

Kana sensei has corrected my accent and my grammar mistakes. She's very kind and professional on teaching. Besides that, she always answered my questions regarding Japanese in real life.

We talked about some of the issues and stuffs that would face while learning Japanese and the way me and others did. Hasn’t considered before that this would help but good to hear and share that.

Today was a continuation of learning about weather. I think I did well, for some reason I just could not remember the word for cloudy. Ken Sensei is a very good teacher, I will recommend him to anyone who wants to learn Japanese.

It was a fantastic trial lesson. I was looking for an oral-oriented teacher and Mr Shun is the perfect choice. It doesn't matter if you don't know Japanese at all. He patiently explained what I'm gonna learn and sent the AI minutes after your lesson which is efficient for you to check and look backward. Looking forward to take his formal lessons.

She’s so encouraging that you start feeling like you can already speak Japanese. Her classes are relaxed yet well-structured, and she uses clear materials that make learning smooth and enjoyable. We use the time, verb and particle to make sentences. (e.g. wake up/ go to sleep/ do exercise / do housework..etc) Moreover, asked Naoko san what does she do on everyday. Not fluent in speaking but successful under sensei’s guidance.

Miyu is very patient and engaging. Perfect for someone, like me, who was looking to have engaging conversations in the language I'm learning to keep me interested and the patience to wait while I try to read like a 1st grader.

I first started lessons with Haruka because I had a Japanese job interview coming up and wanted to get my Japanese sense back. During the preparation process, Haruka not only helped me refresh my grammar, but also gave me a lot of interview tips! which is super helpful! Since i dont wanna have exam- oriented lesson. Haruka provides tons of fun topics about Japanese Culture. We talk about interesting expressions from dramas, like 年男/年女, ダジャレ (puns), and all kinds of onomatopoe. We also dive into grammar topics in a very natural way. Learning Japanese with Haruka feels 100 % practical and lively!

Akiko Sensei made a very good impression on me in the trial lesson. She greets you warmly, smiles a lot, listens to your preferred lesson style, and accommodates to your preference. She has a good learning plan, which we used a little when she shared the screen, but mainly it was a conversation lesson. I will be a repeat student with her.

Teacher Hana is friendly and professional, and she can communicate well in English! Thanks for conducting the trial class, it meant a lot for me who needs a quick catch up for my skill, hope to join her class again!

The teacher is very dedicated and kind. When explaining grammar, they use many real-life examples that make everything easy to understand. The class atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable, and students are given plenty of opportunities to speak Japanese. I always feel fulfilled and learn a lot after each lesson — highly recommended!
