I enjoy helping my students set and reach their goals to become more confident English speakers. About Teacher Carole I was born and raised in the United States. I am a mom to four children (16, 34, 38, 41) and stepparent to two adult kids, ages 16-41, and nana to 8 (almost 9) precious grandchildren. It was my oldest son, now a teacher, who encouraged me to pursue online teaching as an ESL educator. I have a great passion for seeing that all of my students succeed. I have extensive experience teaching. As a certified doula, I am a childbirth and breastfeeding educator. , but I have more than 15 years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language overseas and online. I truly enjoy finding ways to help students reach their individual learning goals. I have experience teaching all ages and abilities. No matter a student’s ability, learning goals, or learning style; I aim to help build confidence and skill. I am also a homeschool educator to our youngest child. She is now dual-enrolled at the local community college. I have served previously as PTA president and School Advisory Chairperson (SAC), an elected position of which I served two consecutive two–year terms. Along with my years of experience, I am also TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and TEFL certified.
