We can help you facilitate BETTER communication skills for effective and more engaging business meetings, dynamic presentations, how to negotiate deals and sales, job interviewing process (from applying, reviewing and editing your resume to applying and mock job interviewing), and analyzing budget and finances. We will do a lot of role playing within your role at the office, and get you feeling more confident and comfortable on the spot when you are actually putting into action! Focusing on various topics such as ~ Everyday/Daily English (various topics can range from every day small talk, expressing confusion, offering sympathy, more improved ways to express yourself etc.) Trips/Travel (making travel plans, sightseeing and getting on a plane, etc) Everything from technology, health matters, human rights, fashion, etc! How to even debate various topics in English - health, education, the law. Healthcare/Social Services/Ethics- I have a LOT of vocabulary that can be introduced to you and also a lot of useful phrases you can use regarding these topics!! Idioms Phrasal Verbs Grammar Review (this is only if you WANT this to be part of the lesson or only want to focus on this) Simple sentences Simple present Past Tense and Present Perfect Conditionals Modals Articles Pronouns These are just some of the various things that can be covered. If you have some material you would like to focus on for conversation/grammar, then that's also great! The aim is for you to feel motivated, interested and learn~ I will help you see your small achievements/progress overtime. I often share my screen, use a lot of visuals and utilize a shared Google document with you during lessons and I PROVIDE the materials we have covered in class to you after our session. In our sessions we will have interesting and informal conversations, introduce or review phrases and vocabulary for your trip abroad, role play various work scenarios where you would be required to use english, and emphasize on your speaking skills, so that can you gain confidence! Once you schedule your first session, I will follow up and ask what topics you would like to focus on and your goals so that I can get to know you better before we talk! During our first class, I will assess your speaking level, and talk about the areas you could improve upon. Even if you decide this isn’t a fit for you, you will still get an idea of how to improve and what resources you can rely on! I can adapt to your style - if you prefer to just have a free flowing conversation without any restrictions, or you like structure, then I am flexible! I’ve been an online English tutor since 2012 and have taught English in S. Korea (2008-2009) and Taiwan (2011-2012). This is a serious passion of mine and my full time position. I love to help others improve their confidence in speaking English fluently. It's a wonderful thing getting to know people from other countries and being able to learn about their countries, cultures, personalities and connecting with them through english.
